Scientists have discovered a star that may assist make clear the physics underlying the photo voltaic dynamo. Researchers mixed observations from the Kepler spacecraft with ground-based observations way back to 1978, thereby reconstructing a 7.4-year cycle on this star. The star is sort of an identical to the Sun, apart from the chemical composition. That makes it a Rosetta Stone for the research of stellar dynamos.
