A federal district court docket ordered that a almost century-old “Peace Cross” be taken down in Bladensburg, Maryland.


The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit dominated earlier this month that the cross, inbuilt 1925, “has the first impact of endorsing faith and excessively entangles the federal government in faith.”

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, a Republican, has vowed to take the case to the Supreme Court.
